As soon as we landed at the Puerto Princessa airport, we had a hard time looking for the Hotel personnel that will pick us up. We waited roughly around 15 min and finally the guy responded. Apparently, we were not the only guests that are waiting for the pick-up.
One of the great perks that microtel palawan offers is the free pick-up and drop off from the airport. Free shuttle service going to the city proper, free unlimited coffee and of course the very warm and sincere hospitality that the staff provides to their guest.
So, how far is microtel? roughly about 30 min drive from the airport and 20 min drive from the city town proper. It's quite inaccessible if you will do your own land arrangement because the entrance to the hotel is quite a terrain.
That night we were tired from the waiting, air travel, and rough drive. But alas! once we arrived, our jaws dropped and we are at awe.
It's soooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful. I wasn't able to retrieve the pictures that night but I tell you, It's one heck of a hotel.
The check-in was so pleasant and smooth. The receptionist really knows how to handle guests in a very pleasant, warm and professional service. We paid for the entire 2 night accommodation which costs around P5,000 which is cheap! why? You get a big room with 2 double bed, Flat screen tv, complete room amenities, and of course buffet breakfast! plus the very beautiful and relaxing hotel environment.
